An infographic that shows comparison of the two countries.

Water pollution is a very big issue in our generation, especially in South East Asia specifically two countries that are known to be the most polluted countries in South East Asia. The information shown here compares certain statistics about the situation of the water pollution in China and the Philippines, and it there a huge differences between the statistics between these countries such as in China there are about 1.6 million that die due to water pollution whilst in Philippines only 20,000 die every year, though 20,000 people is a lot it does not compare to the amount of deaths that happen in China. Furthermore, these countries spend copious amounts of money in an attempt to suppress pollution, in Philippines their yearly costs in reducing pollution amounts to $1.3 billion whereas in China it leads to a whopping $225 billion every year. The two most polluted rivers in the world are also situated in these areas, them being the Yellow River in China and just behind in the rankings is the Marilao River found in Metro Manila. According to research 31% of illnesses in the Philippines are caused by water-borne sources and out of the 1.6 million deaths in China, 62,800 out of these deaths are single-handedly caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. To conclude, water pollution is a big issue not only in these countries but all across the world and people must be more mindful and careful of how they dispose of their garbage in order to reduce water pollution. In doing this, our world will become a better and safer place for not only us humans also for the wildlife especially in the oceans and seas.
