Informational Infographic about China's water pollution

Water pollution has caused a big problem to some places nowadays. Improper sewage disposal is one of the main causes of water pollution. Wastes that are potentially harmful to the environment aren’t being disposed properly that’s why it is being transported to the environment. China is one of the countries who experience severe water pollution. Despite the rapid development of its economy, pollution became its downfall. The infographics have shown that China is the largest pollutant of the Pacific Ocean. Because of its massive land area, 6 million tons of wastes are disposed annually. Because of this, the water in China is too polluted and clean water is not that accessible to its citizens anymore. Since clean waters are very limited, it was proven that almost all drinking waters are contaminated that had lead to gastrointestinal and other types of cancer in some villages. It was mentioned above that China’s rapid increase have caused these problems to the environment. Since there are a lot of industries that are located in the area, they secrete toxic wastes into the water making it contaminated. The projected waste composition in 2030 will mainly be composed of organic materials due to its high water content. 51% of the total wastes are composed of organics which creates a substance that leachates when it is landfilled.
